Decree No. 10 and 6309.00.90 (products), for a period of five years. However, it also included an exception for goods intended for donation or humanitarian aid, allowing such items to be imported without restriction. This measure aimed to protect the domestic textile industry while still permitting the flow of essential donated materials into the country. The policy reflected Argentina's broader economic strategy at the time, balancing trade protectionism with social responsibility.
