We're thrilled to announce that we'll be hosting a Gallery Tunic + Dress sew-along next month, running from February 15th to February 19th. We hope you'll join us for what promises to be a fun and inspiring experience!
When this pattern first came out last May, it quickly became a favorite among sewing enthusiasts. Liesl did an amazing job with the styling ideas, so be sure to check those out. Next week, Liesl will return with some fabric recommendations to help you pick the perfect material for your project.
**Pattern Description**
The Gallery Tunic and Dress are designed with a relaxed fit and a pull-on style. The tunic features cuffed three-quarter-length sleeves and a one-piece collar, while the dress includes in-seam pockets, button-cuff full-length sleeves, and a band collar. Both versions boast an inset front placket with a playful pleated detail, an inverted box pleat at the back, and a curved shirttail hem that's slightly longer in the back. This piece is effortlessly chic and feminine, offering a classic yet contemporary look that can be styled in countless ways.

**Gallery Tunic + Dress Sew-Along Schedule**
Here's a breakdown of the week's activities:
- **Day 1**: Prepare the tunic/dress back.
- **Day 2**: Assemble the placket.
- **Day 3**: Prepare and attach the collar.
- **Day 4**: Attach the sleeves and pockets, and sew the side seams.
- **Day 5**: Sew the sleeve cuffs, hem the tunic/dress, and finish the sleeve cuffs.
**How to Participate**
Make sure you have your pattern, available in both paper and digital formats. Gather your fabric and supplies, and join us in the Discussion Forums Sew Alongs group starting Monday, February 15th. Our host for the sew-along will be Brittney from Sewing for Four (Plus One!), and she'll guide you through every step.
