The unsuccessful enterprises and products in the spot check are: “Yangmeng” brand beef shaklik produced by Yangmeng Candy Food Factory in Dujiangyan City, and “brilliant” peanut crisps-sweetness and coliform produced by Chengdu Kangda Health Food Factory. Exceeding the standard; Chengdu Jianyang Food Co., Ltd. produced the “Slingshot Kid” brand corn cob lollipop, and the residue of carbon dioxide exceeded the standard; Hua Gesheng Cucumber seeds produced by Xindu District Huage Food Processing Factory and Chengdu Shengxing Food Factory The level of corn flour and mold exceeded the standard; Chengdu Aluminum Food Co., Ltd. produced a batch of aluminum products exceeding the standard; Tiandu Food Factory, Xindu District, exceeded the peroxide value.

According to Ye Mei, senior engineer of the Food Inspection Center of Chengdu Quality Inspection Institute, the reasons for the unqualified food in these 8 batches are: Some companies have poor environmental sanitation; operating workers' hands, overalls, shoes, caps and production equipment, etc. Incomplete cleaning and disinfecting, inadequate concentration of active ingredients in the disinfectant, and contaminated packaging. In addition, some companies are not strict on raw materials, while the "food additives use standards" (GB 2760 ~ 2011) understanding is not accurate, in the production process is not strictly in accordance with the requirements of formula feeding and stirring uneven mixing and so on.

At present, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Quality Supervision has ordered unqualified product manufacturers to immediately stop production and sales and recall unqualified products in accordance with the law, and conduct rectification within a time limit. At the same time, investigation and handling will be conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
