21st China International Fair Textile and Apparel turnover of 1.5 billion US dollars

With the support of the Ministry of Commerce, the 21st China Fair was jointly sponsored by 9 provinces and cities including Shanghai, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province, Fujian Province, Jiangxi Province, Shandong Province, Nanjing City and Ningbo City. International Expo Center ended. It was learned from the Commerce Commission that due to the slow recovery of the world economy, there has been a slight increase in export transactions. According to statistics, the total export turnover of the China Export Commodities Fair reached 2.839 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 3.88% over the previous session.

It is reported that in this year's trade fair, textiles and garments were sold for $1.5084 million, light industry and crafts were sold at $119.264 million; other types of goods were traded at $14,548.

However, the impact of the current international financial crisis has not been completely eliminated. The political situation in the emerging market countries was turbulent. Market transactions in the six Gulf countries, Africa, and Central and South America were sluggish. The export trade market of this year's China Fair is still the first in Japan, with a turnover of 84.463 million US dollars; followed by the European Union, once again the United States.

It is worth mentioning that the export transactions of collective enterprises and foreign-funded circulation enterprises in this year's China Fair increase the most, and the proportion of export transactions of private enterprises and manufacturing enterprises increases.
